Next Year's BOG Reps...

Many of you will leave next year and continue the great work you do in different capacities, but your legacy will live on. So, it is time to start thinking of who will take your place on the Y Board of Governors next year. We will need names by March 18 so start recruiting now, and if you need help, just ask Kasey.

It's AWARDS season!

Every year, the Y gives out several awards to honor the hardwork and dedication of its members and volunteers. We need your help nominating students and nonstudents!

The awards given out by the University YMCA each year are:

* John W. Price Award for Volunteer Service to International Understanding
* Harold W. Colvin Award for Leadership by an Undergraduate at the University of Illinois
* J. Fredrick Miller Award Nomination for Distinguished Volunteer Service
* The Edward Nestingen Alumni Award
* The Distinguished Service Award

Nomination forms can be found at www.universityymca.org/awards.

The deadline for the Price Award is MARCH 4. The deadline for all other awards is March 20.

ASB Needs Drivers!

For all you 21 year olds who are still interested in going on a spring Alternative Spring Break trip, we're still in need of PLENTY DRIVERS!! Applications can be found on the web, illinoisasb.org. If you wanted to go on a trip but missed the application deadline, NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!!

OR if you know of anyone who you would like to nominate, send their name and email to external@illinoisasb.org, and ASB will send them an email inviting them to apply.

The Y needs your help for the auction!

Each year the Y asks its student programs to donate an item to our annual fundraising auction. The money raised at the auction each year is vital to keep the Y operating. Kasey will send out more information to each group. If you have not already, please let Kasey know what you plan to donate no later than March 16.
